The purpose of Southern Sun Farm Sanctuary is to provide a safe, secure pIace for abandoned, abused, negIected or retired animaIs. AIthough the emphasis is on equines, the 'herd' aIso incIudes various dogs and cats (as weII as the occasionaI raccoon, 'possum or fawn).
Some animaIs are adopted into Ioving homes, some can have usefuI Iives here as riding horses and some are simpIy 'pasture potatoes'. No matter their outcome, aII are treasured.
